Deutsch: Ich habe diese app gekauft weil ich glaubte dass cih dann dass supernova und dass valkyrie pack spielen kann aber scheinbar ist dass nicht der fall den die geldgierige firma fishlabs hat sich entschieden dass man dafuer noch mal 16 euro zahlen muss schoenen dank auch ich fand die zeiten wo man in den technik laden ging und sich ein spiel kaufte dass dan ohne dass man nochmal extra zahlen muss komplett funktioniert sehr schoen aber heutzutage dreht die welt sich nur noch um geld und wie man moeglichst viel davon den kaeufern aus der tasche ziehen kann. Echt traurig dass diese rezension leider so gut wie gar nichts bewirken wird aber so ist dass halt oder? English I purchased this app believing that i would be able to play all of it including the valkryrie and the supernova pack but seemingly i was naive enough to beliefe that because the greedy company fishlabs has desided that one has to pay and extra 16 euros just to play the full game which i think is a discrase to the user. I liked the times where you went to a store and bought a full video game which worked completely without you having to pay extra very nice but seemingly these times are over as nowadays the only concerne of theese companys seems to be money and how they can take as much as possible from the people. It is very sad that my review will have near to no effect on the makers of this app or the people buying it but i guess that is what we have come to or what? Philip B.

Unfortunately it crashes fairly frequently - so make sure you save your game. Often it happens when entering a station, or when performing actions within stations. Other than that, beautiful! Fantastic graphics, great ships, long story-line and replayability. Needs a patch for the crashes, though.

Not bad. Impressive graphics for an iOS port, but not up to what Id consider computer/console standard. Kept crashing on me, too. Gameplay-wise, it seems like its got potential (only gave it an hour or so), but not as full and richly diverse an experience as Im used to. Writing is unimaginitive and cliche so far (Mkkt Bkkt? Seriously? Removing vowels and adding "k"s feels like an amateur writer chose this characters name). Price is a touch high for what you get, but respectable. I dont feel I wasted my money.

Ive been playing for a couple hours now and havent had any problems with crashing whatsoever. The graphics are phenominal, and gameplay is great. The controls are perfectly smooth and complex at the same time. The storyline is a bit cliche, but is interesting and thorough so far. Overall this game is well worth $20.00, and I highly recomend it.

I totally recommend this game and it is the most addictive game I have played. I am playing this game on and Iphone, Iphone 4 Ipad2 and iMac i5 and it seems stable on all platforms. I cant get enough of it and have played way too many hours on it. Its worth the 20 bucks on the i5!

This game is fantastic! I was a newcomer to this type of game and was worried that it was going to be weird and hard. But you learn quickly and you wont want to stop playing. The graphics are soo good! Just phenomonal, thats why if youre really into space like I am, youll love just see the surroundings. Its overall a great game, do buy if you want to buy a game well worth its cost.

This game has a "Freelancer" vibe, reminding me of Elite from the mid 80s. Lots of planets to visit, missions, ships, weapons, etc. One the one hand, this is a very typical explorations/missions/earn money to buy better gear game. On the other hand, game play is easy (in a good way) and the graphics are wonderful. Lost its 5th star because some polish details arent there yet. For example, if you look at the map in the mission briefing, you then have to exit several levels, go through several other map displays, and then set desination. Lack of map, missions being accessible in space is a bit of a miss, too. I suspect these will be addressed, and when they do, I will upgrade this game to a 5. Been missing my Freelancer fix… feeling much better now.

When locked onto a space station, if a ship comes out of no where and begins to shoot at you, your out of luck. Once locked in, you cant get out and start steering the ship freely, but also you cannot enter the station as you are now being fired at. Im assuming there are more little things like this to come as i continue to play. :s

Well, can t control the ship. Space combat are incredibly cumbersome with mouse or keyboard. A joystick failed to improve. Whereas on the iphone one had a natural feel of control. Why the snafu? They failed to give us a direct view option, to have the vector point where one is looking. On the iphone intuitive due to the accelerometer. But on a MAC impossible, one has to fiddle with the vectors. Unberlievable mistake in design. So it is not a challenge issue, but a poor design. They must add a joystick option. As well, a direct view, as if one is inside the cockpit. A And OMG, who thought of this having the right button on the mouse clicked to steer? Iti s neither like an actual vessel nor alike an airplane, real or simulated. I really regret having spent the $ 19.99 and will get valkyrie ont he iphone instead.

This is an incredible game on the iPhone iPad and now the Mac. But the problem is I have no way of continuing my current game on the iOS devices on my mac. We must have a way to access our game saves in the cloud. This is the future, get on it.

The controls are simply awful, making firefights painful and not fun. Also, voice acting is terrible. Story is boring. On the good side, the game runs smoothly at low details on a 3 years old Macbook Pro. I didnt play this title on the iPad so I didnt know what to expect. Bottom line is, for an iPad game its probably alright. For a Mac game (in comparison to games sold on Steam for example), I was expecting a higher quality production. Wish I could have demoed this before.

Fun space sim/adventure. I love the fact that this game has nice graphics, runs completely smooth at max settings/rez on my 2011 MBP 17in, and was designed to run on a mac. Ports of PC games are better than nothing, but nothing beats a natively built game--keep them coming! Initially I had some crashes to the desktop--this seems to be fixed in one of the patches as I havent had it happen in ages. The dialogue and voice acting arent stellar, but for the price, and in spite all the strengths of this game, Im definitely able to overlook it. I look forward to seeing more games of this quality in the mac app store.

There is a lot more control over the ship compared to the IOS version. Rotation and strafing are a definite plus, and add a much needed dynamic to flying and combat. Locking on to a target is much more difficult than the IOS counterpart. Encountered a few in-game bugs that require self-destruct and restarting from last save, which gets annoying. Bad voice acting, bugs, crashing and clumbsy controls leave this a 3-star for me.

same as some one said the controls are very very bad the game is cool but the controls cant be changed even if they say you can change it the space plane would still move down as up and up as down and the shooting is bad because you cant aim well so dont buy it unless you try it with a friend who already has it

Gameplay is great, story lines, though very short are fun to play through. Bugs: - takes forever to start up - after playing in 1280 x 1024 mode I found that after I close the game other windows wont automatically move from back to front when I click on them. Need a reboot - dont bother starting a new game. The first battle you fight hangs up in the middle.

Avoid at all costs. This $30 game is a money-grab. After buying the game you either have to sink hundreds of hours into repetitive (and boring) "missions" or spend real money and buy in-game credits. The controls are also horribly sluggish for a space-shooter. Feels like a bad iOS port.

Didnt encounter any crash problem, Im running 27" iMac i5 2.7GHz OSX 10.8.2. I love this game on my iPad 1st gen., and now continue playing my save game via iCloud sync on my 27" iMac…awesome!

Boring, repetitive and lacks challenge. Graphics are ok at best and the voice acting is unbelievably cheesy. Might be acceptable for a cheap iOS game but $20 is far too expensive given the lack of polish.
