Fishlabs abandoned the game. Do NOT buy

This is one of my favorite games. I spent countless hours playing it on my iPad with the Supernova and Valkyrie expansion packs. When I found this release in the App Store for my macbook pro, I was ecstatic. So I ponied up the money and bought it, eager to play on the bigger screen. The game came up just fine, and there was my iCloud save game from iPad. I click “load” only to be met with a notification that I can’t load the game--because of the DLC content--to a non-DLC game. Makes perfect sense, and I was willing to pony up the money for the DLC’s all over again as well. The add-ons button does not work. A message pops up claiming it is attempting to connect and may take up to a minute. An hour later it still hasn’t connected, so I search online. It turns out this problem is widespread (not just widespread—nobody is playing the DLC’s on OS X). And Fishlabs has been ignoring every ticket and support request that is opened for this particular problem — the game is broken and they are simply not doing anything to fix it, and they are ignoring all pleas for help.

Take the hint from the ‘Updated’ date here — Nov 27, 2012. It won’t be fixed any time soon.
